Bob and Arlene Jones have owned and operated The Farm on St. Mathias for three years. Bob has Bachelors Degrees in both Chemistry and Biology and a Doctorate in Medicine, practicing clinical and administrative psychiatry for the State of Minnesota. Arlene is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree through St. Cloud State University and is a part-time systems and process analyst for the State of Minnesota. Our farm family consists of our six children, grandchildren, parents, friends, our Gordon Setter Nutmeg, two llamas, farm cats and two Icelandic sheep.
Memberships held by The Farm on St. Mathias include Land Stewardship Project, North American Farmer’s Direct Marketing Association, Northland Arboretum, Crow Wing Food Co-Op, and the Brainerd Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Farm on St. Mathias has recently participated in the following community events: · Crossing Arts Alliance Arty Party held March 8th at the Franklin Arts Center. · Crow Wing County Daycare Association Day of the Young Child held April 19th at Forestview Middle School.
